What’s Steve Doing NOW?
The continuing adventures of MLM Millionaire Club member, Steve Scagnetti…

I am back from California and our company’s National Success Training event. I have always heard from the MLM ‘gurus’ to go to the events and as this was my first one I now know why. What an amazing educational experience. I came away a much changed person with a whole new perspective.

While there, I was able to pitch the business to many people with ease and have 1 potential promoter that would be a HUGE success there as well as in the UK where we just launched.

As a follow up to my last success story where I had gained the courage to approach my acquaintance, the experienced entrepreneur, for potential leads: that turned into an open door for me to pitch “The Challenge”. We were finally able to sit down and chat today and end result was my largest customer order to date! He was also rhyming off referrals without my even asking!

I am truly ‘tuned in’ to listening to people…3 weeks ago I would have suggested the lowest possible package to my customer, feeling guilty to suggest the most expensive, even though it is what he truly needs to reach his weight loss goal. But today I reminded him of his goal and suggested the most aggressive package. He was truly grateful for my candor. I must say it was the most gratifying moment of my young MLM career. It’s addictive! I have a 15 person ‘Challenge Party’ (product demo) Monday night and I cannot WAIT to help each and every one of them…it feels better than the pay cheque.

It’s gonna be a GOOD month!!!

I have been a coach for various sports all of my life and nothing is more rewarding than seeing a player reach their potential or a new plateau of skills…I am likening my business to that in that I am ‘coaching’ people through a decision making process and owe it to them to give them the full depth of my knowledge on the subject just as I would coaching a sport….

I simply enjoy helping others reach their goals…

28 Day Turnaround!

I did Eric Worre’s 20 new distributors in 28 day challenge. Unfortunately I only personally sponsored 5.

HOWEVER, those 5 brought in 36! 2/3 of those 36 registered as distributors. The remainder as preferred customers, and the majority of the preferred customers enrolled on the autoship program. I rank advanced 2 pin levels at the same time and now qualify for the company car bonus.

I have been in the business since 2009 and have never done any good until now! I have now introduced the 20 in 28 day challenge to my new downline (and crossline in my company). I am now doing Eric’s 90 day challenge and I have a major event already planned for July with all the leaders in the company invited to come speak. My quick rank advancement got their attention.

Prospect a Headhunter!

When MLM Millionaire Club member, Steve Scagnetti, was called by a headhunter the other day, he asked her if she might be a prospect for his business, since she knows so many people looking for work! She was intrigued by his weight loss company and the idea that she could offer other options to all the folks who needs jobs! She is looking into it! To be continued…

Steve also gave us a report since our last Club call: “Thanks Bess it was a pleasure to speak with you and Aimee. I actually used some of the tips today and now have 2 new potential promoters and a customer in 2 short hours! Thanks for everything.”

Another story just in: “Just 1.5 hours ago I approached a gentleman I have known for years who is quite heavy set but wasn’t sure how to approach him about possibly losing weight. After the other night’s Club call I got the courage to approach him on the angle of one successful entrepreneur (he owns a large landscaping business) helping a novice entrepreneur (me) and passing my card to anyone who he might know that has entrepreneurial skills as well and would be open to some info.

He inquired what my business was about that gave me an opportunity to explain it and long and short of it is he now has a sample of our product, an exposure to my business, is most likely going to join AND he has a handful of buddies he has been talking about doing a group weight loss thing with so today was the PERFECT timing to approach him. Another gentleman overheard so he asked for some cards as well. All thanks due in part to the confidence I gained from last week’s Club call where we practiced!

When Life Gives You Lemons…

Prior to starting our 90 day business game plan, everything seemed to go against us!

The week we wanted to prepare ourselves the refrigerator went bad. We had to remove our food and put it in the garage temporarily. Luckily it was really cold outside! Our family lent us a fridge and freezer.

So we were determined to start on Monday of the week to come. Over that weekend our Internet and phone went out! “Just what we needed!” On top of that, my husband had to take his brother’s dog to the pet hospital. If you know about a 90 day game plan, then you know that your time is super, super valuable!

Monday a repairman got our internet and phone back. Later that night the internet was down again!!!! After an hour and a half on the phone with them, they said they need to send another modem and router, which take 4-5 business days to arrive(urgh)! So Monday was a total waste!!! We were feeling low, and felt like giving up on our plan!

But we got back up. Tuesday we made a push. With wireless gone, we used wires to connect the laptop. I called my cell phone provider to add more minutes. We also brought our challenges to the MLM Millionaire Club call to get support, and got a new viewpoint. We persevered!

With all that transpired, we are determined to make this work no matter what life brings our way! If we let bad circumstances determine the outcome of what we do, we won’t succeed at anything! So when life gives you lemons… make lots and lots of lemonade with them!

This is Real!

I am so blessed— it was not overnight — but worth every moment I spent!!

In 2011 I had a stressful, life-sucking corporate job. I was big skeptic about trying Skinny Fiber. I have 20+ years in the health and nutritional supplement industry. Chiropractor Leaps Light Years Ahead! ~ No Bones About It!

I have been a chiropractor for 23 years. Network marketing was the last thing I ever expected to embark upon. In fact I was one of those people who distinctly disliked anything MLM.

However, I needed help with a 8 year+ of chronic stress and pain from two torn discs for which I had been putting off surgery. When the Laminine my husband ordered arrived, he said, “Here, take this.” I said “You really think this is going to help me? Yeah right….whatever.”

But I began taking it and felt changes right away and more and more over time. I began making distinct steady improvements in my mental abilities, regaining my memory, ability to focus and be present, decreased stress and emotional calm. After 5-6 weeks I realized that the two torn discs in my lower back were making progress, too.

We had been telling some of our patients about this, since we were so excited about my unhoped for progress. Still, I was grappling with network marketing and the stigma that surrounds it.

I did some Soul searching. I began thinking about the merits of networking and how, in fact, it was an excellent way to share in the wealth and health opportunity. I thought of how many people were out there like me who needed help, too. I thought I could build bridges to those who would consider a supplement but not a chiropractor. I also thought about the residual income opportunity that MLM offered.

My upline dropped the seed in April that since we had signed up three people already, we had a head start on the contest the company was running: an all expense paid trip for two to their event in LA. The last thing on my mind was to take part in a contest, especially since I never won a contest in my life. But the seed had been planted. I began talking to and calling more people. With my new found health I began quietly moving full speed ahead. My upline supported and encouraged me.

I called our upline, Don, many times those two weeks for his input and thoughts. I sponsored a table at a business meeting and nervously presented our product, with two experienced MLM’ers on either side of me! I also talked to Steve, who steadfastly held the space of me winning the contest.

I realized I had to tell my husband my goal, in order to have his support if I was going to be in the running. I must confess the networking was distracting from some of my practice responsibilities and my over exuberance was too much. We had to work out a new balance where I could do both alongside each other in a balanced way. After I told him about the contest he began brainstorming ways to reach more people. He began helping me instead of complaining, and I was more attentive to office needs.

Even though my story propelled me and I am a medical impossibility, I had to learn that it was other people’s stories and concerns that really took center stage in this process. I knew how to listen as a doctor, but this kind of listening had a much bigger scope. My enthusiasm had actually been getting in the way of listening to others and helping them process their needs. In fact, I experienced pain as I realized I had not been listening very well. Don reframed how to “listen to hear” and my dreams showed me how a conversation is created together.

I felt like I was on a fast moving train. There was a wave of energy that propelled me. Even my dreams were showing me where I needed help and how to redefine my thinking. It was days before the end of the contest. I listened to others in our upline about how they were finding success. One by one people kept signing up.

The day the contest ended I was told that many people substantially surpassed the qualifying factors. I too had surpassed the contest deadlines. I didn’t know if I was to be one of the winners or not. I reasoned, even if I didn’t win, I was grateful to have connected with so many people. Many purchased larger packs. I reconnected with people I cared about.

Monday came and I was not on the list of winners! Even though I qualified, there were others who went light years beyond the requirements. I had a dream that the owner of the company was in the position of having to choose between equally worthy contestants. The owner ended up opening up the winners to the top 20, whereas originally it had been the top 10. Tuesday we got a phone call from the company. We won the all expenses paid trip!

The contest propelled me into MLM in a big way. And yes, it was wonderful going to the company event. My husband and I got to meet the people on our team, who had been encouraging me on the other end of the phone line. Another side benefit was that I now actually had a “group” to work with. I/we felt like we were part of the group of the team, part of something big. It felt like an honor to be sitting at the evening dinner hosted by the company, with our team and the CEO. I felt so blessed to be connected to something big. I had never won a contest before, let alone an all expense paid trip for my husband and I to this wonderful event!

Start a Network Marketing Career at Any Age!

I live in Atlanta. For 20 years I managed several successful nite clubs here.

If you told me 18 months ago that in a year I’d be in the greeting card, photos, and gifting business, I’d said you were crazy!

Helle’s Story: 170 Distributors in Only 5 1/2 Months!

MLM Millionaire Club Member, Helle Birkehoj, is an acupuncturist and therapist in Denmark. She had been in several MLM’s, but did not have success, and decided to do no more of them.

Bess’s Story: How I Overcame Shyness

I was 21. Living in Colorado, in the mountains, living and working among the pine trees, cutting firewood for a living. I liked health. And freedom.

So when a friend showed me a great vitamin, mineral, and herb supplement, and I heard stories of people healing themselves with it, I tried it. I felt very good! And when she showed me I could share it with others, AND make a living doing that, it was natural for me. A mission!

BUT, I was a shy person! To do my mission, I had to speak to people! Oh no! But, I got up the nerve to tell people about what this product did for me and others. I had my stories: I lost my sugar cravings, it stopped my neighbor’s hot flashes, and gave people their life and energy back.

And I read an article in Seventeen magazine about how to not be shy around boys: It said to become interested in them. Listen, and ask questions. A shy person has their attention on themselves. To get out of that, focus on the other person.

That is exactly what we teach in the MLM Millionaire Club: Learn the person’s needs, and how you can help them with your product, service, or business!

It became easier. I talked to people all day at health fair booths. I stood up and spoke at meetings. I conducted trainings of my own!

And I loved it! It grew into a full-time income, I helped people get healthy, and I even won a trip to the Bahamas! That was the first time I’d been outside the U.S.

But the best part is who I became! I learned to bridge with people, to do service, to be useful to others. This profession was in place for me when I had my son. It helped me be home for him. I LOVED being able to be my own boss!

Years later, the company went out of business, and I embarked on a personal growth journey, and became a Body Mind Therapist. Since then, I’ve been in 2 Network Marketing companies.

Now I bring personal growth and MLM together in coaching Network Marketers. At this time, I’m dedicated to only coaching, and am not in a company. I support all good ones in the MLM Millionaire Club, which is like an MLM school, and I do private coaching.

I can see how one step led to the next ones in my training to do what I do today. I still LOVE personal growth, and feel very fulfilled when a Club Member or client reaches their goals!

Overcoming MLM Stigma

As a former full-time Network Marketer, I am aware of the negative impression some people have about MLM.

I have also been a coach for 30 years for Business and Life. 7 years ago, my mentor suggested I find a niche in my coaching. I chose Network Marketing.

I just LOVE the open-minded, creative people in MLM! I am one at heart! Committed Network Marketers are some of the most courageous people on the planet, not afraid to face themselves and embrace personal growth. You are my peeps!

But you know, after I made that decision, I began to question myself. My fiance at the time was too embarrassed to tell his corporate co-workers what I did. Like they’d think less of me or him. I began to feel embarrassed too. I ran across a long article by a very sensible man questioning the ethics of MLM. Maybe they had something? Could I feel good around my spiritual group if I was an MLM Coach?

After 2 weeks of doubt and soul-searching, I realized MLM can be spiritual too! There is as much good ethics, service, people, and spiritual growth here as anywhere. I committed to my mission with my whole heart.

I’m SOOO glad I did! Since then, I’d met and coached people I deeply admire for helping people to better health, financial freedom, quality family life, building schools in Africa, supporting Kiva, and helping others to do this too. I also appreciate Eric Worre’s (Network Marketing Pro) untiring work to elevate the dignity of this profession.

Besides, this is THE TIME for people to need Network Marketing. Where else can they turn for a job or a retirement plan? Not our government. (70% of people are predicted to retire at poverty level.) 19 Year Old From Brazil Breaks Free!

I started MLM three years ago when I was 19 years old.

I used to work as a cashier in a furniture store and I wanted to be outside the box and realize all my dreams, but I didn’t know how! I didn’t have enough money to open a traditional business. I didn’t want to go to college, because I saw friends that did who weren’t making their dreams come true. I thought, “Nah, I can’t do this to me! There’s gotta be another way!”

One day my brother-in-law went gave me a ride home. I explained my situation to him. We’ve been very close since I was a little kid. He said to me, “Come to my place tonight. We’re getting RICH.”

He showed me everything about MLM. I got really surprised with what my results could be, and I decided “THIS IS WHAT I NEED” but I had no money to buy the products. I waited til payday, didn’t pay my bills and started on network marketing, made some cash selling the products, paid my bills and ever since it’s being wonderful!

As a little boy, I was very shy, used to complain all the time, had no patience at all, and so many other things. With many training sessions, books and audios, I learned how to become a better person, listen truly to my friends, be a success in all areas, and lead people because they really want to be around me! Two years later I quit my job. Now I only work with MLM and I’m really happy with my results!

“I Couldn’t See the Shore.”

“In 1952, young Florence Chadwick stepped into the waters of the Pacific Ocean off Catalina Island, determined to swim to the shore of mainland California. She had previously been the first woman to swim the English Channel both ways.

“The weather was foggy and chilly; she could hardly see the boats accompanying her. After fifteen hours, she asked to be pulled into the boats alongside her. She found out something then that surprised and shocked her…

“Two months later, Florence got back in the water to try her task once more. The same thick fog set in. She could see almost nothing.

But this time was different. She swam from Catalina Island to the shore of California in a straight path for twenty six miles.

What happened?

The first time she discovered that when she was pulled out of the water, the shore was less than half a mile away.

At a news conference the next day she said, “All I could see was the fog.…I think if I could have seen the shore, I would have made it.”

Second try: The same thick fog set in, but Florence made it because – she said – that while she swam, she kept a mental image of the shoreline in her mind.

“I think if I could have seen the shore, I would have made it.”

Can you see your shore in your mind?

Jimmy Smith, the Millionaire Butcher

Jimmy Smith was a great butcher for 40 years. He earned a total of $400,000 over that career. After being forced to retire because of an injured back, his wife suggested he become a crosswalk attendant at a local school, that there was nothing out there for an injured 56 year old butcher.

“Before starting with Skinny Body Care our family was really struggling, trying to make ends meet, trying to make it from paycheck to paycheck, wondering where birthday gifts, Christmas presents were going to come from, driving around my mom’s tiny car around, stressing about bills 24/7.

In June I decided to jump in after Devonay finally convinced me. I was skeptical at first but decided I would try and would put 100 percent of my passion heart and soul into it. I just talked with a coaching client. She said her dad retired after 35 years with General Motors. He believed in “Go to school, get a good job.” GM said, “Come work for us. We’ll take care of you in your retirement.” … then: “Oops. Didn’t know we’d go bankrupt.” These are the people who need you to show them a better way with network marketing!

The Power of Visualization

My church has over 100 members, many of whom know me quite well. Several times in the past I have attempted to share with certain members the great products that I have to offer, that I know would benefit them, and every time the response has been very disappointing to say the least!

This past week, I decided to try using a new approach: I would practice visualizing the entire congregation becoming customers… why not think big! Did this produce any result? I’ll say it did!

We have a member, Joan, who I’ve known for years, who, for the past year or so, has been coming into church in a non self-propelled wheel chair (meaning that it requires someone to push it) and, until this past Sunday, that someone was her daughter. Well Sunday, Joan was in church in her wheelchair but her daughter was nowhere to be seen.

Following the service, Joan was chatting with a group of ladies and I just happened to be standing nearby when one of the ladies looked over at me and said: “Joan is about ready to leave… would you be willing to push her out to her car?” Of course I said “sure!” Joan informed me that her daughter had just taken a job in Colorado and, in fact, had left on a plane for Colorado that very morning.

As I was loading Joan into her car, I mentioned that if she would wait just a moment, I had a brochure in my car that I wanted to share with her. I presented the brochure to her along with a mini sales “pitch” which included an emotional plea: “I want to see you up and walking!” Well… guess what? She called me Monday morning and placed an order!

Now, just imagine with me the result when she comes walking into church on a Sunday morning (I sincerely believe that the product [Cellgevity/www.VibrantLifeNow.com] will help her body regain its youthful vigor!) Of course, people will be asking her what happened to bring about the change and her testimonial will be invaluable in making others want to be rejuvenated too!
